“I started recycling mattresses a few years ago. It was a slow process taking them apart by hand to recover their constituent parts for recycling. After a large number of mattresses I decided to design and make a machine that did the disassembling for me. This eliminated all the OH&S risks of mattress disassembly, increased productivity, and avoided mattresses going to landfill and enabled all of a mattress’s components to be recycled. CRE8BIZ were engaged to work hands on in assisting me to develop this innovation and commercialise it. In particular, they provided the “been there before experience” and in addition, assistance taking the business through the commercialisation process, letting me be as hands on as I wanted with the project, providing a “fresh set of eyes” without being emotionally attached to the project, informing me to what was the best course of action rather than what I “wanted” it to be. CRE8BIZ were very reasonably priced and incredibly easy to work with. I liked the fact that they were always contactable by both phone and email, I never had to wait long for a response and felt that they were genuinely invested in what my goals were with this project.
