Comprehensive Australian Study of Entrepreneurial Emergence (CAUSEE)
Along with other businesses nationally, CRE8BIZ is still contributing to the Queensland University of Technology’s (QUT) study of the Comprehensive Australian Study of Entrepreneurial Emergence (CAUSEE) lead by Professor Per Davidson at the Australian Centre for Entrepreneurship Research.
The Department of Industry, Innovation, Climate Change, Science, Research and Tertiary Education (DIICCSRTE) in Canberra has taken a great interest in this project. As a result, they have funded the undertaking of a short follow-up interview soon with CRE8BIZ that have been taking part in this study. This short, follow-up, which will greatly increase the value of the data we have previously collected, serves to investigate which start-ups are still running; how they have developed, and whether their founders have engaged in additional new ventures.
By participating, CRE8BIZ it will help the design of better policies, education and assistance services for business start-ups. Only QUT researchers will have access to the data from this project; it will be stored on a secure university server; and will be used to research how entrepreneurs like those that CRE8BIZ works with create new businesses with more or less success.
If you are interested in this research, please feel free to contact CRE8BIZ or you may contact the QUT research team directly via e-mail at causee@qandaresearch.com.au or by visiting the CAUSEE study at http://goo.gl/hxPTg
